This publication would be the first issue in a collection seeking to highlight the extinct or critically endangered bird species from different countries. The first issue presents 18 species from Colombia - the country with the greatest diversity of birds - that are extinct or critically endangered. In the publication, images of the habitat of each species are amputated of a white square, representing the absence of the bird. The pages are filled with empty landscapes and in between, there are grayscale images of the extinct species.
